Hello friends! It's been about 10 days since my brain surgery, and I must say that I am feeling great! I've really spent the past 8 days resting and relaxing in bed, so not a lot has been going on in my life. Here's what my days looks like... literally:
Wake up
Eat breakfast
Get back in bed (work on the computer a little)
Eat lunch
Lay on the couch
Take a bath
Redo my bandage
Lay down
Eat dinner
Go to bed
Doesn't that seem exciting?! I can't drive, work, lift anything, or do anything too strenuous, so I've really just been laying low. I *may* be getting a little bored around here, but since I'm feeling so great I'm trying to just stick with it! I know the more I relax and follow the doc's orders, the sooner I'll be up and at it! AND, I really want to be able to celebrate the holidays like normal next week! Tomorrow, I go in for a follow-up, and I'm crossing my fingers that I will get my stitches removed! I can't wait to fix my hair and wear make-up again!!!
I know that most of you are either already out for the holidays, or you only have a couple of days left. So, I got busy on a little New Year's Fun for you! Here's what's in my new unit...
Even if I'm not back at work, I still plan on sending this fun incentive up to the school for my kiddos! There are random activities that you put in each bag as incentives if the kids are doing well throughout the day or week. Some of my favorite incentives are: sit with a friend, free reading time, dance party, play around the world, BUT I included lots in the pack so you can chose which activities your class does each time you open a new bag!
Here's a little looksy at everything included:
I finished my winter literacy centers last week, but hadn't had the energy to blog about them, so here that goes....
Well, I'm off to rest for a little while! I'm going to attempt to venture out to Chickfila tonight! It will be my first time out of the house in 10 days!!! Ohmiword... I better take a long nap to build up my energy, ha!

I'm glad to hear that you are feeling well.
I'm sorry that you are missing these days of school. Kids are super excited and teachers are super busy/tired. But it is my favorite time of the year. :)
Take a good nap you deserve it!
So glad to hear that you are feeling better! I think all teachers have a hard time doing nothing for so long (it's in our makeup to be go-go-go!) but it will definitely be worth it to take the time to heal! Especially for when your precious little girl arrives!
And Chick-fil-a sounds like a fabulous first outing to me! :) Be sure to grab a peppermint shake-I think it makes all things better! :)
