Must-Haves Monday

Are you as excited about Teacher Week 2012 as I am?  I so loved linking up last year, and am even more excited this year!  Today, I am letting you in on some of my "Must Haves."  This post will also pull a little double duty action for me because it will answer the several questions that I get about clip art, fonts, and computer programs!

First and foremost, I MUST have my Macbook Pro with me at all times.  It is my lifeline :)  I toggle back and forth between making a unit, facebook, pinterest, email, and TpT about 100 times a day, ha!  On my Macbook, I use Power Point to create EVERYTHING that you will ever see on this blog!

(here I was making laptop rules for my sister's classroom)

Whether I'm creating something for my classroom or for a unit, I definitely have to use cute clip art.  Here are my Must Haves for all things visually appealing :)

Just click on the pics to take you there!

Rachelle introduced me to Teaching in a Small Town, and I love her stuff!

I absolutely adore Fancy Dog's frames and borders.  They are more than a Must Have!
If I'm looking for any kind of graphic, I always go to KPM Doodles first!

And, who doesn't love a free font, or hundreds for that matter?!  Kevin and Amanda all the way!

A few other Must-Haves:
*I don't drink a soda everyday, but they are definitely a must on some days!
*My new Cameo- can't live without that thing.  When I post pictures of my classroom on Wednesday, you'll see just how much I used it in my classroom this year!
*Chocolate
*Storage bins, baskets, tubs, etc.
* Chapstick!!!!

Another Must Have for me is a hot hubby... check that off the list :)  And, he loves the Lord which makes Him extra special in my book!

In my personal life, I MUST HAVE bows for my little girl.  And, boy do we have that covered now!  Can't wait to bring her home and get those bows on her sweet lil' head :)

Make sure you link up with Blog Hoppin' this week and let us get to know you a little better!  I promise it's worth the time and energy!

We share all digital must-haves, although at this point, I'm a boring old PC user! But Power Point, definitely...and I also just bought those frames from Small Town during the teacher sale!!!

I follow your personal blog, and I admire your patience with the whole adoption process, and I am so excited for you to bring her home!

This cracked me up because I am sitting here on my MacBook doing the same thing...it's an endless cycle! I don't know what I will do when I have to leave it and go back to work--haha!

Thank you so much for sharing! I am just getting started with creating fun documents and did not really even know where to begin! I used to teach third grade but am now a stay at home Momma to my little girl. I am tutoring, though, so I want to be able to use all those fun graphics and clip art. I am sure you are SO ready to have your little girl home. So exciting! I am loving all the bows :) I hope your school year is off to a great start. Thanks again!

Hi Amy: Thanks for sharing your wonderful ideas and freebies. I have been inspired by you to create more interesting activities for my munchkins. After reading Monday Must Haves, I was wondering if there is a benefit to using power point over Microsoft Publisher? I have been using publisher, but if its easier in power point, I can switch. Thanks! Kathy
