I wanted to share with you some finished products from this week. It seemed like my kids took a little longer than normal to finish their assignments, but I think they just need to get back in the groove!
Here's an up close of a New Year's Day friend. You can download the templates for free {HERE}
We also complete my winter writing craftivity. That you can purchase {HERE}
We used these snowmen for main idea and detail. I gave each group of students a "wintry" book for them to read together. Then, they came up with the main idea and details together. You can download this for free {HERE}
We spent A LOT of time on addition with regrouping. Thankfully, by the end of the week it seemed like most of them got it pretty well... YAY!
Here's a little example from my Addition with Regrouping Unit. This child is obviously very advanced!. He blows me away!
We'll be doing lots more in the next week and a half because our Open House is creeping up on us! We will definitely be making these sweet winter friends that you can purchase {HERE}:

when I taught 3rd grade, we would always go on a field trip to Ben & Jerry's...then we'd come back and do all kinds of math and science dealing with ice cream. I will have to find those and post them :)

All of your work looks great, very cute ! Thanks for sharing, have fun tonight :) That is wonderful to gather the kids for bible study. I was at Church tonight and our pastor spoke about how sad he feels when family members lose their faith, how important it is to engage our young people. God bless you !
Oh my goodness! My week has been almost the same. :)
I used your patterns to make the New Year's kids and then your hot chocolate craftivity saved my life the other day when I emailed myself the wrong file at school, AND I made a template for winter kids that some of my kiddos made on Friday, the rest will be making them next week. How fun! :)
