Seriously...

I have the BEST blogging friends EVER!  I received an overwhelmingly sweet email from one of my followers, Lili Garcia Sanchez, who wanted to share a super cute document on my blog.  So, this post is totally dedicated to the hard work that Lili put into these cards... they include the state flower and bird!  I hope that you thoroughly enjoy this precious treasure, and leave comments thanking Lili for sharing her wonderful work with the rest of us!!!

I have broken them into 3 separate docs so that they would be easier to upload!

My brain is already swirling with ideas on how I can use these cards!  Thanks so much Lili!

These are too cute! Thanks for sharing!! I'm not sure how I will use them either, maybe something with my Mimio on the White-board.

A BIG thank you. I teach 5th grade social studies and these will come in handy as we learn states & capitals.

These would be really good to use in conjunction with a postcard exchange--I'm picturing a bulletin board with these cards, more facts about the state, and the postcard (when it arrives).

Not to be a downer, but some of the states are missing, including my fair state of Florida.

If you click on the links they are all there, I only posted a few pics to give you an example. There are 7 pages total

Those are beautiful. Thank you for sharing, Lili and Mrs. Lemons. I think I might use them as an ABC activity.

All 50 states are in the downloads. Don't worry. There are just a couple pages not shown up above.

I just found your blog via Pinterest. It is great! I just started blogging about 2 weeks ago. I started a blog for homeschool families with children on the autism spectrum, dyslexia or ADHD. We have all of those in our family! Anyway, your layout and graphics are wonderful! I use Blogger too. If you ever have time, can you let me know how you made your title and backgouund patterns? I also want to make a button on my site that others can grab, but don't know how. THANKS!

These are awesome! I would love these to have the capital on the state name card with the slogan :o) My 5th grade daughter has to learn the states and capitals and that would make them so easy to learn!!

They're lovely but I had a few questions...

Someone mentioned capitals but I don't see them on the cards. There's not a back side or a place for capitals, is there?

They seem to be in strips more than cards that you could cut out. If you print them out on cardstock, it's not one card per state in standard card shape, right?

Just trying to figure out how to best make use of them. :)

Thanks!
